Allie Rae continues to prove she has what it takes to compete on The Voice Season 30. The 15-year-old country singer impressed all four coaches during Cut Week on November 2 with her performance of Lainey Wilson’s “4X4XU,” earning special praise from her coach, Riley Green.

Kelly Clarkson was amazed by the teenager’s performance and reminded her that she was already ahead of many singers her age.
“Girl, you are 15 years old. That’s crazy,” Kelly said. “Regardless what happens right now, you are so far ahead of the game. You are going to be incredible.”

Riley was just as impressed, comparing Allie to country music star Reba McEntire.
“Everything about it was great, like a little mini Reba,” he said. “You’re so fierce. We got to see the best version of you in that performance. I really loved it.”

Speaking to the cameras after the performance, Riley said Allie had made impressive progress since her Blind Audition. Despite being only 15, she already had the stage presence of a much more experienced performer.
“Allie Rae definitely set the bar high. It’s going to be really tough to beat that performance,” he added.

Allie’s standout moment came during the first-ever Cut Week, which introduced the biggest elimination round in the show’s history. Coaches Riley, Kelly, Adam Levine and Queen Latifah each selected two artists to advance directly to the Live Shows. The remaining five singers on each team had to compete for one final spot.

On Team Riley, Allie performed alongside Everett Bounds, Keiyana Osmond, Kayleigh Matthews and Joe Henley. After hearing all five singers, Riley had to choose just one artist to join his two automatic selections.
The other artists who were not selected by their coaches still had a chance to advance. America would vote for one additional singer from the 16 remaining contestants to complete the Top 13.
The Voice Season 30 airs Mondays on NBC, with the Live Shows beginning November 9.
