AGT winner Richard Goodall says a film about his life is coming soon as he teams up with Simon Cowell

RICHARD Goodall, the janitor crowned winner of America’s Got Talent 2024, has claimed he hopes a film biopic of his life will be made starring actor Zac Efron.

Richard, 55, spoke to The U.S. Sun exclusively on how taking home the $1m prize will change his and new wife Angela’s lives forever, now that the prestige and profile of the series means he can leave his Indiana middle school cleaning job.

MOVIE STAR

Richard said he hopes that he can emulate Britain’s Got Talent enigmas Paul Potts and Susan Boyle by having a film biopic or documentary made about his life.

Angela added fans may be shocked at some of the darker trials Richard has faced during his life.

“Richard’s life would be a magnificent film. The biggest thing? I just can’t put it out there for the world yet. “It is just life that has not been kind.”

Richard feels having Zac play him “would be cool.”

“He’d probably have to put on a little weight though, It sounds like fun and I’m willing to take on anything.”

Angela said she wants to be played by Demi.

“It would probably have to be like Demi,” she said.

“He has made regular ordinary people at the forefront.”

He added that AGT helped show the world he could be a star despite not being a twenty-something polished performer.

“It’s not about all the superficial stuff. It’s about not only talent, but it’s also about people of substance that care about people, not people that are just trying to climb a ladder and make a buck.

“Angie and I definitely intend to give back whatever way we can. The possibilities are endless.”
