Britt Stewart may be questioning her future on Dancing With the Stars after another painful early elimination. The longtime pro and her Season 35 partner, Taylor Hanson, were sent home after Yacht Rock Night, and a new report claims Britt feels she has not been given the same opportunities as other dancers.
According to an insider who spoke to The U.S. Sun, Britt is considering whether to return for another season after years of frustration. The report also claims that some fellow pros have encouraged her to walk away if she believes it is time to move on.
Britt Stewart’s Latest Elimination Leaves the Ballroom Upset

Britt, 37, and Taylor, 43, were eliminated during Tuesday’s Yacht Rock Night after earning 18 out of 30 points for their foxtrot to the Doobie Brothers’ What a Fool Believes.
The couple stood among the final three pairs alongside Jackson Olson and Emma Slater and Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson before hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough announced the results.
Britt appeared stunned and emotional as she learned they were leaving the competition. The insider described the atmosphere as unusually tense, claiming the ballroom felt more like a funeral than a celebration after the elimination.

Although Britt and Taylor’s journey ended after only three weeks, their exit reportedly sparked strong reactions behind the scenes.
“All of the other pros were supporting Britt,” the source told The U.S. Sun, adding that some had encouraged her to leave the show if she felt she was being treated unfairly.
The insider also claimed Britt believes other professional dancers receive better treatment and that she has not been given the same chance to succeed. However, the source stressed that the elimination was still fresh, making it too early to know whether she would actually quit.
Fellow DWTS Pros Rally Behind Britt Stewart

Britt’s elimination quickly drew support from her fellow dancers, many of whom praised her talent and questioned why she has struggled to advance further in the competition.
Jan Ravnik called Britt one of the best dancers he had ever worked with and praised her partnership with Taylor.
Sharna Burgess also voiced her support, saying she hopes Britt returns next season with a strong celebrity partner who can help her reach the finale and finally perform a freestyle.
“That woman is so talented. She’s so deserving and we all know it,” Sharna said, making it clear that she did not blame Britt for the elimination.

Brandon Armstrong also described Britt as an “elite dancer” and “elite pro,” while admitting that he and his partner, Ciara Miller, were devastated by the result. Ciara suggested that Britt deserved a chance at redemption.
Daniella Karagach became emotional while discussing Britt’s exit, praising her dancing skills and ability to teach. Ezra Sosa also expressed his frustration on social media, writing, “I’m so pissed.”
The wave of support has added to questions about Britt’s repeated early exits and whether she will get another opportunity to compete for the Mirrorball Trophy.
Britt Stewart’s DWTS Record Raises Questions About Her Future

Britt made history when she became Dancing With the Stars’ first Black female professional dancer in Season 29 in 2020. However, despite her years on the show, she has yet to reach the finale.
Her first season with Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir ended in sixth place after they reached the semifinals. In Season 30, she and actor Martin Kove were the first couple eliminated, finishing 15th.
Britt had her strongest run in Season 31 with actor Daniel Durant. The pair reached the semifinals and finished fifth, marking her best result to date. Their partnership also led to a romance, and the two married in August 2025.

Her following seasons brought more disappointing results. Britt and NFL star Adrian Peterson finished 11th in Season 32, while her partnership with actor Eric Roberts ended in 10th place during Season 33.
In Season 34, she and former NBA player Baron Davis were eliminated in Week 2, finishing 13th. Now, her run with Taylor Hanson has ended in another early exit, with the pair also finishing 13th after just three weeks.

For now, Britt has not publicly confirmed that she plans to leave the show. Whether she returns for Season 36 remains uncertain, but the support from her fellow pros shows that many believe she deserves another chance to make a deeper run.
