A rare, intimate window into the high-profile world of global superstar V has officially arrived, sending the global ARMY fandom into a frenzy. Released via BANGTAN TV, the newly dropped 21-minute selfie-camera mini-documentary titled “3 Days in LA” captures the 30-year-old BTS icon in the days leading up to the group’s historic, sold-out performances at SoFi Stadium last month. From luxurious private quarters to candid pre-show banter, the vlog delivers an unscripted look at the idol balancing world-tour intensity with relaxed personal moments.

Gourmet Group Dinners and Spanish Practice Under the L.A. Moon

The documentary opens with V carefully adjusting his phone camera settings before stepping out for a lively family-style dinner with his fellow BTS members and touring crew. The group shares gourmet dishes while engaging in spirited debates over the aesthetic merits of film versus digital cameras.

Upon returning to the group’s rented Los Angeles estate—a sprawling compound featuring classic columned railings, expansive outdoor seating, and a grand fountain—V winds down under the night sky with a personal language lesson. Preparing for the upcoming Latin American leg of their massive “ARIRANG” world tour, the singer practices his conversational skills directly for the camera:

“I’ll try my best to be able to talk to you all… I feel happy that I can understand more and more.”

Against a soft background of piano jazz, V also shares a snippet of his personal favorite Latin track, the timeless classic “Sabor a Mí”—a song famously covered by legendary acts ranging from Luis Miguel and EXO to Los Lobos. The language prep arrives just in time as BTS prepares for upcoming live viewing broadcasts from their shows in Argentina and Brazil scheduled for late October.

An Estate So Large He Gets Lost: Exploring the L.A. Crash Pad

Giving fans an exclusive tour of their temporary California home, V navigates through cavernous, all-white living spaces and showcases a stunning ornate indoor swimming pool. Poking fun at the sheer scale of the property, the singer jokingly laments that the mansion is so gigantic he occasionally loses his way inside.

After wishing viewers a gentle good night in Spanish, the idol prepares for rest, setting up a busy second day. Morning arrives with a hearty breakfast followed by a casual stroll through the estate’s entertainment wing, where table tennis and billiards tables sit ready for early-morning recreation.

SoFi Stadium Soundchecks, Backstage Rituals, and Pre-Show Feasts

The scene soon shifts to SoFi Stadium for the group’s mandatory soundcheck before their September 5 performance. Members RM, Suga, Jin, j-hope, Jimin, and Jung Kook each take turns checking in with V’s camera before stepping onto the massive stage to test their mics in front of lucky ARMYs witnessing the rehearsal.

Back in the green room, V sets up his camera to capture the seven members enjoying a pre-show feast of fresh sashimi, accompanied by playful jokes alleging that eldest member Jin caught the fish himself. The behind-the-scenes footage catches raw, authentic pre-show preparations—from V brushing his teeth in costume to RM executing elaborate frog-pose stretches on the floor to limber up for the grueling performance.

Midnight Basketball and a Surprise Celebration for RM

Following another triumphant, sold-out show, the group returns to their estate to wind down and focus on self-care ahead of their September 6 concert. The vlog concludes on a heartwarming note as the bandmates surprise leader RM with an early birthday celebration, followed by a casual late-night basketball session on the mansion’s indoor court.

The release of the vlog comes as BTS continues their world-domination tour across South America, taking the stage at Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos in Santiago, Chile, before heading to Argentina.
