Season 30 of The Voice has officially finished its Blind Auditions, with Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, Queen Latifah and Adam Levine now holding full teams.
Still, not every talented singer who stepped onto the stage earned a spot on a team.

One of those singers was 17-year-old Isabella Juliet, who auditioned with Lainey Wilson’s Things a Man Oughta Know. She also played acoustic guitar during her performance, showing impressive skill while singing with one hand after an amputation during childhood.
Isabella had the talent, but the nerves appeared to get in her way.

After her performance, Riley Green praised her country voice and said she made the song feel believable. He admitted it had been a difficult decision for him, but ultimately, none of the coaches turned their chairs.
Adam Levine explained that he felt Isabella’s nerves affected the audition.
“You do have a beautiful voice,” Adam told her, while encouraging her to remember that she did not need to be afraid of making a mistake on stage.
Riley Green surprises Isabella with an unforgettable duet
Although Isabella did not leave The Voice with a coach, Riley made sure she left with something special.
During their conversation, Isabella revealed that she regularly posts singing videos online and has covered Riley’s songs before. Riley already knew about her videos and even remembered her cover of his song Don’t Mind If I Do.

Before Isabella left the stage, Riley asked if she wanted to sing the song with him.
He grabbed a guitar and began performing Don’t Mind If I Do, with Isabella joining him shortly afterward.
The moment quickly turned into one of the most touching parts of her audition. The audience cheered as Riley and Isabella sang together, while the other coaches watched.
What happened next caught the attention of fans.

Many viewers noticed that Isabella appeared much more relaxed once she started singing with Riley. Her voice sounded stronger and more confident, making fans wonder what she could accomplish if she returned to the show in the future.
One viewer wrote that Isabella sounded “much more relaxed” while singing with Riley and believed she already had the talent to come back in another season.

Another fan praised Riley for giving her the chance to sing beside him, while others said the duet seemed to give Isabella a huge boost of confidence.
Isabella may not have earned a chair turn, but her audition ended with something just as memorable: a chance to share the stage with Riley Green and show viewers the voice she could have under different circumstances.
