Lights, camera, action! The Voice may already be filmed in Hollywood, but the newest season on the horizon is taking the star power to the next level. What’s different about The Voice Season 31?
The Voice Season 31 is introducing a totally new format with celebrities competing for the coveted winning title.
Aptly named The Voice: Celebrity, the upcoming special season “swaps undiscovered talent for a wide range of celebrities –— actors, musicians, influencers, athletes, comedians, and reality television stars.”
The Voice: Celebrity promises “unprecedented access” to the celebrity Artists throughout the season as they “step outside their comfort zones and reveal new sides of themselves.”
For starters, this season will introduce new elements and twists such as “Voice Boot Camp,” giving viewers a behind-the-scenes peek at how the celebrity Artists have prepared for the Blind Auditions. Viewers will also get to step inside the “VIP Room,” where celebs watch their fellow Artists perform for the Coaches.
As the season progresses, viewers will also get to take a look inside the “Workroom,” where the celeb Artists “strategize, rehearse and ready themselves for the Battles.”

Who are The Voice Season 31 Coaches?
Queen Latifah, Riley Green, and Joe Jonas will all serve as Coaches on The Voice Season 31.
Both Queen Latifah and Green will be making a quick return for their sophomore seasons of The Voice after making their Coach debut in Season 30, premiering on September 21 at 8/7c on NBC. Jonas is also no stranger to The Voice, making appearances as a Mentor and Advisor in past seasons as well as serving as a Coach on The Voice Australia in 2018.
Who is the new host of The Voice Season 31?
Keke Palmer has officially joined The Voice as the new host for Season 31.
Beyond her own extensive music and acting career — leading her to cross paths with Queen Latifah years ago while they worked on Barbershop 2, Ice Age, Joyful Noise together — Palmer will be making her debut on The Voice with plenty of hosting experience under her belt.
Palmer has been the host of NBC’s reboot of Password since Season 1, winning an Emmy for her work on the game show in 2024. The 32-year-old multihyphenate also hosts her podcast Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, which premiered in 2022 and has since welcomed a long list of beloved celebrity guests like Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson, America’s Got Talent host Terry Crews, as well as Love Island USA Season 7 stars Chelley Bissainthe and Olandria Carthen.
Longtime host of The Voice Carson Daly also isn’t going anywhere as he will serve as a producer on The Voice: Celebrity.
